Celebration of the Animals & Blessing of the Animals

The Celebration of the Animals, a public event that takes the form of a free petting zoo, begins at 3 pm. The Blessing of the Animals, open to all furry, feathered and scaled friends, begins at 5 pm. Free hamburgers, hot dogs, and fellowship follow the blessing service. A pet drive is ongoing with donations of food and blankets being accepted at the St. Stephen's office. The events and drive are supported by Escambia Co. Animal Control, First Methodist Church, Paws Crossed Dog Rescue, St. Maurice Catholic Church, and St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, all located in Brewton, Alabama.
