Historic Apalachicola Home and Garden Tour returns May 3

The home of famed botanist Dr. Alvan W. Chapman highlights the Historic Apalachicola Home and Garden Tour on Saturday, May 3. Now in its 31st year, the annual event hosted by Trinity Episcopal Church showcases some of the town’s most distinguished homes, both old and new, as well as the City Square Community Garden.

A jumble sale offering affordable treasures opens at 9 am on the grounds of Trinity Church followed by an open-to-the-public silent auction at 10 am. A choral Evensong service at Trinity at 6 pm on Friday followed by a reception in Gorrie Square kicks off the tour weekend.
