About The Event
Each year, St. Luke’s recognizes and honors our veterans for their service to our country. Both the Japonica and the University Campuses will have special events on Tuesday, November 11.
If you have friends or relatives who are veterans, please invite them to attend these events. Veterans and their families are welcome to participate in both events.
The University Campus - The University Campus will begin the day with a breakfast for our veterans and family members from 7:00-7:45 a.m. followed by a special assembly at 8:00 a.m. in the Moorer Center for the Performing Arts. Our guest speaker this year is St. Luke’s parent, Lt. Commander David Tharp, USNR. There will be performances by our band and drama students, as well as patriotic artwork provided by our art students.
